Register for your slot at the venue at 7.30pm. First come, first served.
Your poem must take a maximum of three minutes to read, after which you must leave the mic.
You can only read one poem. (If the audience likes you, and we have enough time, you will be invited back to the mic.)
You can recite, read from a sheet of paper, stand on your head, dance while you speak, whatever. The emphasis is on your work and your voice.
No costumes, no nudity, no copyrighted material that you do not own, no audio or visual accompaniment. Also, please, no obscenity; we don’t want trouble with the cops.
Performers get a drink, courtesy Zenzi. (You'll get coupons after you perform.)
