In an age when the film experience has been reduced to the tiny screens of our laptops and iPods, oftentimes experienced alone, Mocha Mojo in association with the Bombay Elektrik Projekt offers you a chance to be part of an enchanting, community exercise: Short Cuts allows you to bask in the glow of the short film.

Tequila-shot like movies that are quickly clever but profoundly rich, packed with hard-hitting humor and long-lasting poignancy.

Short Cuts’ mission is to discover and nurture brilliance and innovation in the worlds of film, animation and music. We unite audiences via the short films submitted each fortnight, and an special set of global films especially curated for each night.

Film world personalities, ad gurus, hobo-writer types, struggling actors, cinematographers, anyone with an interest in the visual medium (yes, that includes the rest of the city) are all invited to be part of the special night: network, chat, diss or kiss-ass as the night of cinema unfolds.

Here are films that will be screened on the 10th of November:

We are having a very special screening of "On connaît la chanson" brought to you by Alliance Française de Bombay followed by three films under the theme "All Human Beings are Born Free and Equal" .

Odile is looking for a new, bigger apartment. Her younger sister Camille just completed her doctoral thesis has fallen in love with an estate agent who is responsible for Odile's apartment and who has an elder employee.

Synopsis:

Synopsis:
The film portrays a group of refuges fom Africa who have formed the music group “Afroband” together. They are the only African musicians in Lithuania. The musicians’ concerts are successful, but they also have to face problems.
